The speed range extends to 3600 rpm. This makes the screw spindle pump suitable for pumping fluids of both very low and very high viscosity. From binding agents, acids and juices to shower gel, adhesives or butter, Pomac pumps are the right solution for both pumping and for sterilizing or cleaning (2-in-1).
For reliable and efficient operation, these pumps feature two precision-engineered screw spindles that offer optimized play. For each pump size, two different screw types are available that each have a specific thread pitch.
Pomac PDSP double screw spindle pumps are EHEDG certified. Their construction conforms to the guidelines of the European Hygienic Engineering and Design Group (EHEDG) and is thus optimized for use in hygienic applications. A high level of cleanability is assured.
The Pomac PDSP screw spindle pump is self-priming. This means that it can vent the suction line of the pump by itself, without any external aid.
The pump is designed for the transport of sensitive fluids and of liquids containing sensitive solid components. It ensures a flow that is free of pulsation.

As a standard feature, all wetted parts are produced with a surface roughness of RA <= 0.8 µm. To comply with food standards, the pump’s surfaces can be polished to a roughness of RA <0.5 µm.
